Welcome to Chestnut Vets

Chestnut Vets is a long established (over 100 years) veterinary practice in Ware.

We pride ourselves in treating your pet to the best of our ability and are happy to treat your dog, cat, rabbit or guinea pig as well as many other types of pet. We now operate a Pet Health Club scheme which provides our gold standard preventative healthcare package for your cat or dog for a small monthly direct debit payment. We also strongly advise pet insurance cover for those unexpected illnesses or accidents.

Home Visits

We offer a home visiting service to our clients for routine appointments. This includes vaccinations, prescription review checks, blood pressure checks and non-emergency consultations.

Appointments must be booked in advance*

The cost for this service is £45**, in addition to the consultation fee/vaccination fee and any potential medications required.

They operate on Mondays with the first consultation starting at 11.30am.

Please speak with our reception team to arrange.

*Appointments not booked in advance will incur our standard visiting fee. If you live more than seven miles away, then please ask reception for the cost.
